Alcohol Inks are acid-free, fast drying and when combined with two or more colors produce beautiful batik and hand-dyed effects. These inks go a long way as the colors are very vivid and strong. They can also be used on glossy paper, metal, glass, and other slick surfaces. Great for scrapbooking.
Also available are the luminous, fast drying, acid free Metallic Mixatives in pearl, copper, silver and gold. When combined with the Alcohol Inks, they produce luminous highlights.
The Adirondack Blending solution is specially formulated to lighten and blend the colors of the Alcohol Inks.
Use the Dowling stamp applicator for best results.
These amazing Gourd Luster Pigments with their deep luster are non-tarnishing, weather resistant and colorfast. As these are high quality powders with no fillers or dyes a small amount will go a long way. To apply to the gourd, just add a small amount of Gourd Luster to your varnish or wax and brush on to desired area. Can also be applied using the heat activated "Palette Glue". Paint glue on to desired area, activate glue by using a heat gun. The glue will lose its shine once it's activated. Now, with a dry brush, sprinkle on Luster pigments, tapping off excess with a dry brush.
Choose from 15 intense, lustrous colors in 3 gram packages.
Memory Inks are semi-transparent and fade-resistant. One 1/2 oz bottle will cover about 100 five- to six-inch gourds, so a small amount goes a long way. As the inks have a slower drying time, you are able to blend colors. It's not necessary to wood burn lines into the gourd to corral the colors from running into each other.
Also available to use with the inks are the applicator cubes, which are great for applying color to large areas. Coat the felt with the desired color, and rub over the large areas to be covered. Once done, close the applicator and save for the next project.
Embossing powders are a fast melting powder that deliver rich colors, enhancing your gourd artwork. These professional embossing powders deliver rich, dimensional colors to your gourds.
